rAlph – Asking who is responsible
rAlph is only available when AI is enabled for the tenant. Administrators enable AI under Settings → System & Automation → AI Settings.
Just ask rAlph in plain language who is responsible for something – e.g. “Who is responsible for the onboarding value stream?” or “Who is accountable for the data protection policy?”. Such questions target persons.
How rAlph finds the person
Section titled “How rAlph finds the person”Responsibility rarely sits directly on a person; it is usually mediated through the organizational structure. rAlph follows these paths automatically:
- Directly or via a role (1 hop): The entity is owned by a role, and a person fills that role.
- Via role, function or position (2 hops): Responsibility runs through an intermediate step (e.g. a function or position) to the person.
rAlph resolves this path deterministically and states both the person(s) and the path in its answer (which role/function/position the responsibility runs through). For multiple or ambiguous matches, rAlph lists them. If no one is found, rAlph says so honestly – it does not invent responsibility.
Linked entities in answers
Section titled “Linked entities in answers”When rAlph mentions a concrete person, role, function, position or any other entity, its name appears as a clickable deep link. A click opens the entity’s detail page directly – just like the links in the detail area. Entities you are not allowed to see remain plain text.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Only entities and relationships you are allowed to see are considered (visibility applies unchanged).
- These questions work in the normal Ask mode (read-only) – nothing is changed.
