roleALPHA User Manual

This documentation walks you through the platform step by step. If you’re new, start with First Steps. If a term is unfamiliar, the Glossary will help.

  • Getting Started: Finding your way around — the tour, the glossary, the views, and your account.
  • Working with AI: rAlph, your assistant — files, commands, history, and what the platform knows about AI agents.
  • Working with Objects: People, roles, value streams and everything else you create, plus the shortcuts that make it quicker.
  • Relationships: How to link objects together.
  • Approvals & Notifications: How changes get released, and how you hear about what is waiting for you.
  • Module Reference: One lookup chapter per module — people, roles, OKRs, projects and the rest.
  • Administration: Configuration, access, data sources — start with Settings at a glance.

This manual lives at doc.rolealpha.app — public, no sign-in required, and every page has a stable address you can share. Pick the area at the top (Using roleALPHA, Working with AI, Modules, Administration), the chapter on the left, and jump to a section of the page on the right.

The search at the top covers the full text of every page, not just the titles (Ctrl/Cmd + K or / opens it). The language picker switches between English and German.

Throughout the app you’ll find small help icons. Hover for a short description — “Learn more” opens the matching page of this manual in a new tab, so your work in the app stays open. In the app, Help in the profile menu takes you to the start of the manual.

You can also ask rAlph directly: [[ai-assistant-commands|/help in the assistant]] searches this manual and links the pages its answer is based on.
