Choosing chat models

The AI assistant rAlph works in two chat modes: Ask (answering questions) and Plan (preparing changes). Under AI settings → Chat models you, as an administrator, decide which models your users may use in chat and which model is the default in each mode.

How to configure it

1. Open AI settings and enable AI for your tenant.
2. In Chat models, tick the models you want to allow. The choices are the models enabled by the platform.
3. Set a Default for Ask and a Default for Plan from the models you selected.
4. Save.

Effect

• In chat, your users see only the models you selected in the model picker and can switch between them.
• Switching between Ask and Plan automatically uses the respective default model.
