Tenant appearance
Under Tenants → palette icon you decide how roleALPHA looks for your tenant. Without your own settings the application shows the roleALPHA brand: cream as the surface, deep green for text and headings, mint as the accent for buttons and links. The dialog suggests exactly these values, so you don’t have to enter anything to get the brand.
What you can change
Section titled “What you can change”| Setting | Affects |
|---|---|
| Primary colour | buttons, focus ring, active navigation — and rotates the chart colours to match |
| Secondary colour | the second surface, for example highlighted roles in the role circle |
| Background colour | the surface of the whole application, in the light and the dark theme |
| Logo | replaces the roleALPHA mark in the sidebar and on the sign-in page |
| Display density | how much room fields get in normal mode (see Normal & Expert Mode) |
The application picks the text colour on your colours itself: deep green on light tones, cream on dark ones.
The sign-in page
Section titled “The sign-in page”Without your own branding, the sign-in page shows a deep-green panel with the roleALPHA logo on the left. As soon as you set a colour or a logo, it steps back: your logo (or your tenant name) then sits on a calm surface in your background colour. If you clear your branding again, the roleALPHA panel returns.
What deliberately stays the same
Section titled “What deliberately stays the same”- Typefaces: headings in Manrope, text in IBM Plex Sans.
- State colours: “approved”, “review due” and “risk” look the same in every tenant. Otherwise green would mean “good” for one tenant and “button” for another.
- Corner radii and spacing of the controls.
Warning for hard-to-read colours
Section titled “Warning for hard-to-read colours”If neither deep green nor cream reaches enough contrast (4.5 : 1) on a colour you picked, the dialog shows a warning. You can still save. The warning only says that text on this colour will be hard to read for some people.
