Watching objects
Every object carries a “Watch” button. Press it and you are notified as soon as something changes on that object — no rule, no configuration, no administrator.
It is the simplest answer to “I need to know when something happens to this role, this value stream, this policy”.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Watching is visible on the button; pressing it again stops it.
- Whoever made the change does not get notified about it — you are not informed about your own actions.
- Anyone who may no longer see the object stops receiving notifications, even though the watch itself remains.
- If the object is deleted, the watch disappears with it.
No noise
Section titled “No noise”A frequently edited object must not create a flood. Changes are therefore summarised per object and time window: twenty edits during one morning become one entry, not twenty.
By default watching only reaches the inbox, not email. Both can be changed under Notifications.
